Casey Shoot-out Cup

Casey Hockey Club’s Gala Event.

2010 new and exciting format. Heaps of hockey - less down time!

You wanted it fast & furious - here it is!

A one day 5-a-side tournament, 20 minute games- flat out! No out of bounds, smaller field.

Licensed bar and clubroom facilities (STRICTLY NO B.Y.O.). Food and other stalls, raffles and other exciting activities.

Competitions: Men's, women's and social (mixed).

DATE: Saturday 13thMarch 2010

TIME: First game 10:00am - finish 6:00pm

WHERE: Casey Cannons Hockey Club, Manuka Road, Berwick

COST: $180 per team. A $100 deposit per team is required prior to 1st March 2010. Entries are limited so hurry to secure your team a spot!

You can enter a team of minimum 5 and maximum 8 players.

Rules & format:

All players must be over 16 years of age
All teams must register 30min before their first match on tournament day
Maximum of five players on the field
No teams are allowed a goalkeeper
Amended hockey rules apply
Woman can play in men’s categories but men cannot play in women’s categories
Penalties - one on one shoot out from designated spot
20 Minute quarter field games, round robin competition
Players can only play for the team they are registered in
The clock will be controlled by the technical table
The tournament director will have the final decision in case of any dispute
Teams can play in any appropriate outfit and under any appropriate name they choose
Final payments to be made on the day prior to commencement of play

Additional information:

Prizes for winners in all categories
Professional massages will be available throughout the day at a minimal cost
Clubrooms with bar facilities will be open all day
Lots of food and other interesting stalls and activities
Confirmation of your registration together with a full program of the day will be emailed to team managers
Team managers must make sure that all their players get the relevant information
Tournament will start at 10.00am
Prize giving following last games and dinner
